| Bio |
After a single year in college in 1968, Leslie left and began making earrings from brass wire and beads which she immediately began selling. Once she had learned to use the torch, she experimented with sculpting semi-molten gold using tools to form shapes and add textures, a technique she continues to build on.
She is a member of the Cape Ann Artisans and Three Sheets to the Wind, a sea shanty group. Her current focus on shawl pins and cable needle necklaces came from her love of crochet and knitting.
